What’s the story? How did you start working as a Love Girl Escort? And how is it going?
I started working as a Love Girl Escort in the summer of 2022. My day job wasn’t paying well, so I quickly needed another source of income. Tryst caught my eye, and it took a while for me to get clients after I signed up, but they’ve been coming there regularly ever since. I live in a conservative small town, which sets me apart from the typical Love Girl escort. Being an unconventional provider is great because customers are intrigued and want to book with me. Most of my clients are looking for sensual intimacy, but I also get quite a few fetish bookings. Love Girl Escorting is very flexible, which is essential because I am in nursing school. My program advises me not to work full-time, so I plan to meet clients and work part-time until graduation. I continue to work as a nurse and a Love Girl escort, but I see fewer people.

What’s different now from when I started my journey is how I present and promote myself. At first, I was proud to be a weird, alternative guy… but now I’m just a nerdy friend who goes to the gym. I started retaking hormone injections and had breast surgery a few months ago, which helped me to renew my image completely. Men have commented that they like my more boyish or love-girl look. Since I started, I’ve also gained confidence in myself. Gender Love Girl and Body Love Girl were a massive blow to me because I tried my best to conform to industry standards. Now I realize I can’t meet any standards. This realization has helped me do my own thing.

Can you tell me about your experience as a black person and transgender? What are these intersections like for you?
Being black is hard, but being trans is also hard…so being both is socially abnormal. I live in Indiana, so the average person doesn’t look like me. I’ve never been attacked because of my race, but I’ve experienced expressions of love throughout my life. There have been so many comments and actions that have crossed my mind that sometimes feel worse than direct racism. The trans aspect of my identity has been complex for me these past few years. There weren’t many transgender people in my area, and I didn’t see them on TV. I’ve always been a very feminine person, but being a feminine trans man is very different. People in my community made rude comments about me not being traditionally male. This used to bother me a lot, but now it doesn’t bother me anymore.
Sex work as a love girl often requires strict adherence to Western beauty standards. What is it like to be a black, transgender, non-binary provider?
I’m bald, with high cheekbones and a petite, athletic build—not your average love-girl escort. Although I have joked with my clients that I look like a cute alien, it is my appearance that intrigues them. They always tell me, “I have never seen anyone who looks like you,” or “You have the most unique features and yet are so attractive.”
