Welcome to our interview series with adult sex service providers, “A Tryst with…” In this series, we take a closer look at providers from Tryst. We speak to New York adult sex service provider Delilah about her change of career focus and the evolution of the industry.
I’d love to hear your backstory – how did you get here?
Like most people, I think it was necessity that drove me into adult sex work, but that’s not why I stayed there. Being an international student was tough, so I had to make some tough decisions at the time, and one of them was to start adult sex work. Honestly, I’m grateful to be here. It includes transforming my energy for the more useful. I have met many amazing people I would never have met without this job!
We propose a sweeping sort of services, including adult sex, fetish, and nuru. Can you inform us something concerning the growth of your job?
Absolutely! I started working as a dominatrix in 2017 and have been practicing BDSM in my personal and professional life for a very long time. I do adult BDSM, but about a year ago, I realized that I was no longer comfortable doing many of the things that were being asked of me. I felt like I was changing, and my services were changing too. Entering a more sensual age, I decided to turn to adult sex and bring some of my own experiences. So, I designed a session according to my preferences, and I have to say I am thrilled with the outcome.
Do you have a favorite session?
I don’t have a favorite adult session, but a favorite experience. It can happen in any session. My favorite experiences are the ones where there is no rush, with total respect, just the energy flows, and the chemistry we create together is intoxicating. In my experience, there is nothing better than this.
What accomplish you specifically enjoy near your employment?
I love the interesting people I’ve met and cherish our time together. The experience I’ve gained from this job is second to none, and I’m very grateful.
How has the industry changed since you started?
The industry is always evolving. Since I started, more people have gone online and started selling content, which was almost unheard of back then.
What have you learned about yourself from working as a sex worker?
I’ve learned to be independent, respect my boundaries, and recognize my limitations. Since I started working in adult sex, I have more respect for myself.
Do you think that among the customers who come to you, there is a type of person who you find very pleasant to meet?
I like to see intelligent and generous gentlemen. Some men can make anything special, and I love that.
How do you deal with burnout? How do you refresh your artillery or bring a holiday?
If I feel adult tired or not in the right condition to do the job, I often take a week off. I like to go somewhere quiet or adult, spend time at home, care for myself, and have time for myself.
